Choralia sponsors the Choral Public Domain Library (CPDL)
In September
2008 Rafael Ornes, founder and manager of The
Choral Public Domain Library, stepped back from an active role with CPDL. A group
of volunteers who have been active on CPDL worked out a transition
plan. The group of volunteers included Massimo Capozza, founder and manager
of Choralia. He donated the
amount urgently required to migrate CPDL to more powerful and reliable
servers, as well as to set-up and operate additional servers for
back-up and site diversity purposes. To offer continuous support to
CPDL Massimo Capozza is allocating to CPDL one third
of all the donations received for Choralia
since January 2008.
